Time & Location

About the Event
Manitoba Baton is developing their grassroots program by partnering with teachers across Manitoba. We are offering baton twirling in all parts of the province. Fortunately, with online platforms like TEAMS, we have been able to teach over 1000 students this past season.
We are holding a beginner teacher’s baton twirling course via Zoom on Saturday, September 26th, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. You are invited to join!
No experience is required to take this seminar. You will learn how to teach basic baton skills in your phys ed class. We will have follow-up sessions to answer questions, provide new material, offer ideas for routines/combinations to teach, and offer any guidance. We are accessible throughout this entire season. Sign up by emailing email@example.com.
In the past, many areas of Manitoba had large baton programs, and we are excited to offer them again this year and for years to come!
The seminar is complimentary; however, the teacher(s) in-training should take out a Manitoba Baton membership ($23) for the 2021-2022 baton season.
We offer memberships that include basic insurance and accessibility to many of our Manitoba Baton programs and events. The cost for the insurance coverage for the year is $12/student.
Baton is a very affordable sport; however, some grants and programs may cover the cost so every child can play if cost is an issue. Please let us know if you require more information on this.
Please let us know if you or someone you know would be interested in spreading the baton love across Manitoba.
If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
